About Purge
Purge, Instant, designed by Pete Venters first released in Feb, 2004 in the set Darksteel and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.41.
A white control deck would benefit from including Purge in its deck, as it offers efficient removal for artifact creatures and black creatures that can't be regenerated. While Purge is a solid removal option, cards like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares may be considered better choices due to their versatility and lower mana cost. However, Purge could still see play in specific metagames where artifact creatures or black creatures are prevalent.
