About Tidewalker
Tidewalker, Creature — elemental, designed by Dave Kendall first released in Feb, 2007 in the set Planar Chaos. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.39.
This card would benefit a control or tempo deck that focuses on controlling the board and stalling the game until it can build up its Island count to maximize Tidewalker's potential. While Tidewalker can be a strong late-game threat, there are better options available such as Delver of Secrets, which provides immediate value and doesn't require setup, making it a more versatile and efficient choice for most decks. Tidewalker could see play in a niche deck that can reliably ramp up its Island count quickly, but overall, it may not be the most competitive option in most scenarios.
Rules
02/01/07
Unless something is boosting Tidewalker’s toughness, when the last time counter is removed, it will be put into the graveyard as a state-based action for having 0 toughness before it can be sacrificed as the result of vanishing.
