About Astral Drift
Astral Drift, Enchantment, designed by Anna Steinbauer first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 4.76.
Astral Drift is a powerful card that can benefit decks focused on cycling cards and triggering enter-the-battlefield effects. Decks that rely on recurring creatures or gaining value from cycling can make great use of Astral Drift. While there may be better options like Astral Slide that have a similar effect, Astral Drift can still be a strong inclusion in the right deck and should see play in strategies that can take advantage of its unique ability to exile and return creatures.
Rules
06/14/19
Astral Drift’s triggered ability resolves before the cycling ability does. You won’t draw until after you choose the target and choose whether to exile the creature.
06/14/19
Auras attached to the exiled creature will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled creature will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled creature will cease to exist. Once the exiled creature returns, it’s considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was.
